HMIN (Home Inns & Hotel Management Inc.) opened up 59% at $22 on Thursday morning from the $13.80 offering price, and closed the first trading day at $22.50, up 63% from the offering price.
HMIN (Home Inns & Hotels Management Inc.) was eventually priced at $13.80 per share, 15% above the high-end of the expected range of $10-$12, an indication of strong demand for the IPO. The stock will begin trading today (Oct 26, 2006).
Is the pricing reasonable?
Home Inns & Hotels Management Inc., China's leading economy hotel chain, will begin trading on the NASNAQ sometime this week under the symbol "HMIN." The IPO has a pricing range of $10-$12 per share and a proposed market cap of $368 million.
