New Oriental Education (NYSE:EDU) Summer Enrollment Increased 25% YoY

Enrollment at New Oriental Education (NYSE:EDU) has increased 25% year-over-year, reports Xinmin.cn.
As the summer approaches, New Oriental's branches in Beijing are seeing four to five times more registrants compared with normal times. All 17 enrollment offices in Beijing have expand working hours from 9AM-6PM to 8AM-6:30PM. A manager at New Oriental told reporters that summer enrollment has risen 25% year-over-year. He attributed the increase to higher demand for training on overseas exams and China's national college entrance exams.
New Oriental Education (NYSE:EDU) shares are up 13% year-to-date. On average, wall street analysts are expecting its revenue and EPS to grow 29% and 38% in fiscal year 2010. Out of the 11 analysts covering EDU, seven have a positive rating on the stock.
