China Mobile (NYSE:CHL) Enters Fortune 100 for the First Time

China Mobile (NYSE:CHL) ranks 99th on the Fortune 500 ranking, up 49 places from last year, reports China.com.
This landmark achievement demonstrates the outstanding earnings performance and potential of China Mobile. In the past year, China Mobile maintained steady growth despite the global economic slowdown. The company has performed well especially in the rural markets and value-added services, which contributed most of the earnings growth in the past few quarters.
China Mobile (NYSE:CHL) is the 22nd most profitable U.S.-listed Chinese company. On average, wall street analysts are expecting China Mobile's revenue and EPS to rise 7.6% and 3% in 2010. Out of the 37 analysts covering China Mobile in U.S. and Hong Kong, 18 have a positive rating on the stock.
